PDS is seeking a Warehouse Worker for an open position in Hutchinson, KS.
In your role, you will be:
Inventory (things like verifying that parts are where they are supposed to be
at)
Stock checks that are visual checks only which do not require releasing
of parts in SAP.
Cleaning of bearing houses, gear boxes, and main shafts so
all the inspector has to do is to measure and release.
Engraving tracking
numbers on calibrated tooling
General 5S
Retrieving paperwork from the
production line
Organizing the non-conforming part areas. (back to the above
5S)
Completed units in the yard;
Check Quality tags and serial
number stickers (these are fading and/or falling off the completed units
Turning of the nacelles verification (verifying the dates that they were
turned against when they should have been turned)
Checking for anything on
completed units that do not look right. (These things are like bird nests (Yes,
we have that problem I just found one the other day), oil leaking on the
concrete, dehumidifiers not plugged in,etc)
